Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection launches in September with six games and new modes
A new compilation celebrating three and a half decades of isometric sci-fi horror is on its way. Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection, developed by Antstream and published by Commodore in cooperation with Team17, brings together six brutal games from the franchise’s early era. The collection is set to arrive sometime in September, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The package is designed to revive the classic titles for modern audiences while preserving their original character. According to the official Steam page, the collection represents "the definitive Alien Breed Collection," offering the complete library of games, extras, and content from the franchise’s first era, all optimised for contemporary devices. The six games have been updated with modernised controls and new modes, but remain faithful to the isometric sci-fi horror-action that defined the series.
The Vault Interactive Archives
Beyond the games themselves, the collection includes a substantial archival feature. The Vault Interactive Archives invites players to "step behind the airlocks" and explore an in-universe interactive experience that hides a number of secrets. Updated Combat, UI and Customisation

Multiplayer and New Challenges
The collection preserves the original couch co-op modes exactly as players remember them, for those seeking a traditional trip down memory lane. However, two new modes have been added to extend the experience. Rush Mode is a high-stakes peer-to-peer online co-op mode that challenges players to take on the relentless swarm without saves or continues, either solo or as a team across all supported platforms. Horde Mode is a solo survival experience that asks players to see how long they can last against the hunger of the Breed.

Antstream is the developer behind the compilation, while Commodore acts as publisher, working in cooperation with Team17, which licensed the property.
