Privacy Policy
Play Herald ("we", "us") operates https://playherald.com. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit the site and what we do with it. The short version: we run a news website, not a data business — we collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Technical logs. Our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses, browser type and requested pages to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We see this data only in aggregate analytics.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive whatever you include in your message (such as your name and email) and use it only to reply.
We do not require accounts, do not sell personal data, and do not build advertising profiles of our readers.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security. If we introduce advertising in the future, ad partners may set their own cookies; this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated before that happens.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN and security.
- Google Fonts — the Manrope typeface is loaded from Google's servers, which involves a technical request from your browser to Google.
- Partner links — some pages contain links to third-party services (marked as such). Their sites have their own privacy policies which we do not control.
Legal bases and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, we process technical data on the basis of legitimate interest (running and securing the site) and correspondence on the basis of your request. You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you by writing to contact@playherald.com. Where the CCPA applies: we do not sell personal information.
Children
The site is a general-audience publication and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
