The display is expected to include a dual-mode functionality, allowing users to switch between different resolution and refresh rate presets, and an RGB-stripe subpixel layout that promises sharper text clarity than traditional OLED arrangements.
The monitor, which has not yet been officially announced by Gigabyte, appears to be targeting the premium segment of the gaming monitor market. At 27 inches, it sits in the sweet spot for many competitive and single-player gamers who favour high pixel density over sheer screen size. The 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at 240 Hz would make it one of the fastest 4K gaming monitors available, should it reach production.
The choice of a WOLED (White OLED) panel is significant.
